The Burke Mountain Village community is anticipated to include approximately 2,000-plus residential dwellings and 120,000-square-feet of retail/commercial space including a grocery store, plus a large public plaza and Village Greenway within its 39 acres east of Burke Mountain Creek and south of David Avenue in North East Coquitlam. A new major recreation complex and community centre and 3.6 acre park are there for all to enjoy.
Across Burke Mountain, there are two active and two planned elementary schools plus one planned middle/secondary school within a 20-minute walk of Burke Mountain Village. The City of Coquitlam is invested in the area’s success, as the primary landowner of the future Village, and owner of other future development sites nearby. Burke Mountain Village is envisioned to become North East Coquitlam’s new residential, social & commercial hub.
