Project: Burke Mountain Village

The 39-acre Burke Mountain Village community is anticipated to include approximately 2,000 residential dwellings and 120,000 sq. ft. of retail/commercial space, including a grocery store, a large public plaza, and the Village Greenway. It is located east of Burke Mountain Creek and south of David Avenue in Northeast Coquitlam. The Burke Mountain Community Centre and a 3.6-acre park are also planned for all to enjoy.
In addition to three active schools, plans are to build an elementary school and a middle/secondary school within a 20-minute walk of the Village. The Village is envisioned to become Northeast Coquitlam’s new residential, social and commercial hub. As the primary landowner of the future Village, and owner of other future development sites nearby, the City is invested in the area’s success.
